Producer
Snippet: Creative project management designed from the ground up for film, still and live production industry.
The Producer app is a tool made to help film producers and project managers manage their projects. I developed both the iPad and the iPhone version of the Producer.
Here is a list of features that you can find in the app:
- Create and assign talent, crew and locations to your projects. Import them from your contacts or previous projects and so build a maintainable database of production assets.
- Maintain and develop your script in standard format and take it a step further when you assign a visual reference to every script item.
- Go location scouting or to a casting session with Producer and take all the pre-production images and notes on the fly as you choose.
- Dropbox integration for downloading and uploading project documents
- Advanced PDF generation for project overviews and film scripts.
- Share files between the app and iTunes. Simply add a file from your computer to the app in iTunes and the file will automatically display under the Documents tab in the app.
- Keep a detailed or a high level budget for every project and see where you are coming in on your production budget.
- Keep all of your scouted locations, booked talent and working crew in a database. Develop your library of support with information and notes from all your productions.
